Abstract

A method for determining the coordinates of the outer boundary of the volume condensation area in a turbulent boundary layer during humid air cooling is proposed. Assuming the existence of a triple analogy function called the Spalding profile to use a single to describe the shapes of the curves of the flow parameters in the laminar sublayer and in the transit (buffer) sublayer of the near-wall part of the turbulent boundary layer is proposed. In the turbulent part of the layer to use the generally accepted power-law dependence to describe the shapes of the flow parameters change curves is proposed. It is shown that the refinement of the shape of the curves of the change in flow parameters leads to the refinement of the coordinate of the outer boundary of the sublayer of volumetric condensation of steam from the cooled humid air.
