Abstract

The article discusses the features of the development of the gas sector in Azerbaijan. The analysis of the development of the gas sector of the republic, taking into account the developed new gas condensate fields and the ongoing international pipelines for the export of natural gas from the offshore fields of the Caspian shelf. The prospects for the development of the gas sector of the republic, new routes of gas pipelines and the main risks in the implementation of international gas projects in the export of Azerbaijani gas were considered.
