Abstract

The article investigates the state of the meat industry, analysis of statistical data regarding the volume of production of various types of meat products in 2010 – 2018, assessment of dynamics of key indicators and identifying factors influencing changes in the structure of production. An important role in assessing the effectiveness of the meat industry is the analysis of the use of the main production capacities of meat producers. The Russian market of the meat industry is currently poorly developed. Production equipment needs to be updated due to the accelerated intensity of technology development. The authors have done serious work to determine the main indicators that characterize the development of the meat industry over the past 8 years.
