SYNTHESIS OF CARBOXYPHENYMALEIMIDES AND STUDY OF THEIR BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY PROPERTIES
Keywords:
Carboxyphenylmaleimide, antibacterial polymer additives, antimicrobial and fungicidal propertiesAbstract
New antibacterial additives (ortho-, meta- and para-) carboxyphenylmaleimides were synthesized on the basis of maleic anhydride and isomeric aminobenzoic acids to obtain biologically active composite materials. Chemical structure of the obtained carboxyphenylmaleimides was confirmed by physico-chemical, analytical methods (IR, NMR spectroscopy, HPLC-UV, HPLC-MS, etc.). Their antibacterial properties have been studied. Carboxyphenylmaleimides were found to have both bactericidal and fungicidal properties and allow their application in the production of polymer compositions and products resistant to bacteria and microfungi.
