The global environment of uncertainty, cyclical and structural risks, problems of state sovereignty and independence increase the tension of civilization, the competition of countries in the field of politics and economics. The purpose of the article is to analyze the experience of digitalization of the US economy in the new high-risk conditions of the pandemic, self-isolation, trade, information and hybrid wars. In this regard, the achieved results of digitalization of the US economy are relevant, which at the level of developed countries is important for achieving a breakthrough in technology, building a multipolar world, increasing competitiveness, and at the level of developing countries updates the experience of implementing digital technologies to adapt to national and economic specifics in order to develop the economy and improve the well-being of the people. Based on the generalization of modern publications, the understanding and focus of the digital economy is clarified, the levels and objects of influence of digital technologies, innovations and trust on the competitiveness of companies are clarified, the transformation of resources into a digital format is emphasized to increase the level of information and activity component. The main indicators of economic development of the country emphasize that the U.S. is in first place in a worldwide ranking of digital competitiveness, in second place on the Global cybersecurity index, 8 Index of readiness to the network society, in 10th place on the index of digital development (3,61). The developments allow us to identify 4 levels of openness to digitalization, two types of categories of US manufacturers on the way to digitalization, summarize trends in digital development and draw conclusions from the results of digitalization of the US economy.
